FOOD Magazine's Presents Perfect Bazaar at Rockwell
Last weekend,
Food Magazine held a bazaar. It was aptly entitled Presents Perfect as the product selections were truly worth giving away as presents for Christmas!
There were the old favorites like my family's own
Nana Meng Tsokolate, Joyce's dulong and queso de bola spread (sooo addictive!) and
Polly's famous chocolate cake.

Some savories worth checking out:
Joy's Swiss Ham (order at 524 2891/ 523 1476 / 0919 466 7769);
Hecky's Lechon which is Cebu-style lechon that is oven baked. Prices range from lechon de leche at P4,300 to extra large lechon at P9,300 (order at 0920 924 7006).
Sunrise buffalo chicken wings (find them at Madison Square across North Greenhills gate). And the naughty
GF - garlic fries, not girlfriend - which uses the slogans "Eat My GF" and "Don't cheat on your GF. Stay loyal ..." (find them at Glorietta or call 0917 819 5875).

Cassava Creme,
this amazingly creamy cassava cake by
Monchet Carballo, who also makes lamb adobo and bacalao (available also at the Salcedo Market); a chocolate cake with a leche flan topping (I honestly found this mix not quite compatible though); and

My personal favorites were Dial K for Kitchen's buttery polvoron, chocolate truffle based mochi by
Dezato Mochi Flavors (www.dezato.com; 100 Hemady St., New Manila; 727 1229); and a chocolate ganache cake by
Cinq Dessert Boutique of
Angela Villoria-Tolentino (which I tasted at another event). Most of all, I loved these mushrooms from
Prime Fresh Harvest and, being a Nespresso lover, the new
Piccolo from Nescafe.

There were a few more stores I wasn't able to visit - sana 3 weekends man lang ang bazaar but unfortunately it was just for one weekend. Congratulations to
